Lynn Rosedale (maiden name Casey) grew up in Dover, New Hampshire. After graduating from high school Lynn attended Bob Jones University majoring in Women's Studies with a minor in Counseling (2004). During the summer between her Freshman and Sophomore year Lynn traveled to Seoul South Korea to teach English as a Second Language (ESL). Lynn became fascinated with Asian culture and fell in love with teaching English to foreigners.
After her undergraduate degree she moved to China where she taught at Daqing Petroleum University. After one year Lynn decided to come back to the USA to work on a MA in Secondary Education from BJU (2006). It was there that she fell in love with her now husband Mark Rosedale.
In 2008 Lynn moved to Boston, Massachusetts to enroll in MA in Teaching English as a Second Language at Simmons College. During which she taught ESL for a year and a half at the Center of International Education department at Salem State College.
Presently, Lynn is in her last semester of Simmons and is doing her Practicum in the Quincy Middle Schools. She is looking forward to graduating in May 2010 and finding a full time teaching position in Massachusetts.
